There’s a lot of pros and cons in buying electronics online, one of the pros would be it’s easier, but not faster since you have to wait for a few days before you receive the item, unless it has same day delivery.
For me, I could do research on the item further by checking the specs and reviews from other people before buying it and of course I don’t have to pay parking fees or commute.
Here are a few tips on buying electronics online:
Make sure you’re buying from a reputable online store.
I cannot reiterate this enough, make sure to check the reviews, google the store also check their social media profiles, some customers leave their reviews there. I normally buy from online stores that have a physical store even if it’s a lil bit expensive.
Make sure the online store can replace defective electronics.
Read the fine print thoroughly and also check how you could return defective items or if they accept returns.
Test the electronics right away.
If you can test it while the delivery guy is there, better, it’ll be less hassle on your part, you don’t have to go a courier to have the item returned.
